Musician, Composer, Producer and all around stage performer; Faust is a wizard in the world of stage magic. As a multimedia composer of the Sonic as well as the Visual, Faust has learned his stage craft starting at the age of three by singing and dancing at Carnegie Hall in1969, and later as a T.V. commercial personality and child model. Later Graduating from various colleges of music and music/ stage technology; the son of a carpet installer, Jason Jarrett (aka: Captain Faust) obtain his College Degree (In Broadcasting Technology & Management) and graduated in 2001 at Kingsborough College Brooklyn NY from 1997-2002. Captain Faust worked at WKRB Brooklyn Radio station in the production department creating jingles and promos and various commercial lead-ins for the station. “The Captain” takes all his knowledge of his 40 years being in the entertainment business and applies it to the “Magic Circus”; (an entertainment company he started out in 1995) Faust began his stage musical career with the love of keyboards/synthesizers, and bass guitar and vocals. Faust progressed his craft through music by working for several music projects as well as working in various cover metal and progressive rock bands in the later half of the 80’s. All along this time Faust practice the magical arts, which started out as a hobby, which later evolved in to a business? Faust worked for several entertainment companies in the early 90’s until landing his own company in ‘95 as The Magic Circus. Faust’s brand of magic includes stage magic/ slight of hand dove act with fire in which he won the NYC 2001 ABRACADABRA award. Other skills include black light animation puppetry. Faust has studied with World Champion Master of the Stage and Close up Magician, Rocco, to develop his stage presence, and Sleight of hand technique; (he later was one of Faust’s judges at his 2001 “Top Hat” completion).
Now that the “Captain” has incorporated DJ services in to the Magic Circus he can offer a unique live Vegas style magic entertainment, unlike any other company can. Complete with laser light show, special effect fog machines, and the latest musical genres song list for any occasion.
